Hi Kenny,

There are others on site who will probably be able to give you more information. In the meantime have a look at the Imperial War Museum site on

www.iwmcollections.org.uk

What particulat craft are you intending to model - there may have been a specific pattern for that vessel.

Hope this helps.

Al

Hey Al,

I'm looking for all RN ships to add to my ship mask line at Gator's Paint Mask.

Hi Kenny,

I'm not really a ship person, I'm just buliding my first LCI's. Get in touch with Skipper and he could give you a lot more information than I could.

Hope you enjoyed the photos.

Hi there, get in touch with John Snyder of White Ensign Models. He will definitely have the information you're after.

Kenny,

Check out (John) Snyder and Short's RN Camo Series. They published 4 books on RN WWII camo. I think Randy Short has a website www.shipcamouflage.com where he sells them online.

Kenny,

What particular ship do you want information on? There have been lots of books published with camouflage profiles - it all depends on your criteria.

Alan Raven's WR press released a four volume set of books (same size book as the Squadron In Action series, with nothing further in common) on Royal Navy camo in WW2. If you are seriously interested in the subject, I suggest you get these....lots of profiles and color information.

The out of print (and very pricey) Ensign and Man O' War series from the 70's released volumes on different ships or classes of ships, most had camouflage profiles inside them.

Again, if you are looking for info on a particular ship, it would be easier to point you in the right direction.

Well guys, let me ask you, the modeler. What RN ships would you like paint mask for? Give me your ideas, thoughts and suggestions and we'll go from there.
