This is Frank Portela''s first 1:700 dio. Although a little "old" (four years), Frank accepted my request to publish it.
Enjoy

Beautiful Dio, Frank!
I love what you have done with the water!...Do I hear a second motion to my nomination of a Full Build Feature for this dio?

...sure would make a nice addition to the
 Warship Feature section! (hint hint!

) Thanks for sharing the dio, Frank!

I do not have any photos of my technique on water bases, but I have plenty of half completed ships that could be used for one of these 'how to features'. Give me a couple of days....
thanks,
Frank

I am an aircraft modeler, Siderius, on this website. However, your aircraft carrier and associated escort is very nice indeed! I especially like the fact that water is so easily made with of all things sand and glue?!
Do you have any more aircraft carriers to display on this site, I would be interested in taking a look at them. Sincerly yours Siderius.
CORRECTION, from Fred (JPTRR): This was accidentally posted, for me, by Siderius, with my permission. He thought he was on his own computer--NO breach of security.
Thanks,
Fred
