Hey guys. I'm finally getting to my workbench this weekend. Does anyone know the hull color of the Monitor? Verlinden has it as a buff color but all the pics I've seen show it black. HELP!

I would say Black is the colour... give me a couple of hour to check it properly!

In the following link you have drawings and pictures and I must say that the Hull and Turret appear to be Black in colour

The bottom link also have some Views On Board Photographs and I must say that even the deck appears to be Black or of a very Drak Colour - not the teak light shade, at least at the time the photos were taken.
