Extreme modelling - either that or Germany has some very large matchsticks.

And I thought that the 1/700 PE for my Flattops entry was small!! Ha!!
Thanks for the post, David...follow the link to the modelers personal page for an english version (my German is a tad bit rusty!) and some more fantastic shots of these little beauties...AMAZING Indeed!

Wow.... that truly is amazing level of detail. I would love to see how large those AFVs on the landing craft are in comparison to a match!!
That would make a great article addition (translated into English).

WOW. I truly can't imagine working on anything that small. Skipper said on another thread that he was sure the guy didn't start out being that good. I think I could practice from now to doom's day and I'd never be able to even come close.
Thanks for sharing.

If my maths is right it would be approximately 1/35th the size of a 1/35th scale model.

Trully amazing work and he even goes to the work of making the seascape which gives a very convincing look!
Before my activness in Armorama, our club had a co-work with Almada's Naval Museum. One of our guys poped this amazing work of balsa wood 1/1250 scale fleet!

Your math is for all purposes exactly correct. Putting this another way, if you took one of the AFVs from one of these landing craft, you could use it in a 1/35 scale diorama of a soldier off duty showing off one of his 1/35 scale models!!!! :-) :-)
