Hi Jim
Thanks for posting those news!
I have found very interesting the barrels/screws set for HMS Hood (as the PE Set included in the kit) and of course, the USS The Sullivans
I wonder if there's any real difference between Marshal Ustinov and the previous released https://modelshipwrights.kitmaker.net/review/1581
Cheers,
Skipper

I especially like the look of the Hood. Trumpeter apparently worked quite closely with the HMS Hood Association in order to get her as accurate as they could. Anyone know if WEM are going to provide a PE set for this kit?

Does anybody know what those 8 straight tings are surrounding the four screws? They kind of look like her 5.5 inch guns but they were removed prior to Denmark Strait. I understood the kit was to be in that rig, not an earlier rig. Or are these so she can be backdated?

Hi Rodger
I would say that they are the main batery barrels with blast bags...
Bellow you have the same eight barrels (?) withouth blast bags and capable of being posed in diferent elevation angles...
Skipper
PS: :-) :-) Of course I can be totally wrong

I guess that makes sense. I've never used any aftermarket gun barrels so I didn't realize that might be done.
