Next up I'll finish off the foredeck. That's going to be a bit more involved, as I'm going to have to install that on to the hull in order to put on the enclosure around the forward 20mm emplacements to seal up the gap and then mask off the deck while I paint the upper section of the hull Haze Gray on the forward part. I'll probably put on the hull number decals after that, and when that's all done, I'll put all the detail parts (20mm, anchors and chains, etc.) on the foredeck to minimize any problems with handling.
I'm still slightly concerned how the joints between each of the three deck sections will look since they're all painted and any "sealing" will no doubt require some touch up.
Looks like about 28 or so hours of work remaining and still shooting for May 13th to complete. There are some additional shots in the gallery.
