Took a bit more time than I had planned, but then I planned for that :-) ,

This was one of the trickiest parts and I have to say that I do NOT regret doing almost all the work OFF the hull until I had to start putting things on. It's just so hard to manipulate to get around to the right angle.

But for the rest of the last couple of steps the entire model will be pretty much flat on the table.

Here's a couple of shots, and I can tell I've got just a bit more touch up to do. There are a couple more in the gallery

All that's left at this point is adding the other two sections on, making sure the seams are taken care of and then installing the railing.

Hi Tom

Don't take me wrong for what I am going to say, but you need to touch up those chains (cooper colour is showing)

Appart from that... WE NEED A DROOLING EMOTICON!

:-)

Excellent job, excellent...
Congratulations

Yeah, it's on the list of "finishing touches" that need to happen. I wound up working a whole lot longer on the chains and anchors and in order to both get some pictures posted AND some sleep last night, I opted to wait to fix that.

I should have thought about it earlier, but I neglected to open the holes in the hull for the anchors, as well as open the holes in the foredeck for the chains to pass through. That wound up taken quite a bit of time since I was working on the completed and painted assembly and needed to be a whole lot more careful.

Getting close now!!!

Tom,

the whole thing is beautiful. I second Skipper's notion for a drooling emoticon.

In a way, I can not wait to continue my own vessel again... just 5 more weeks or so...
