Greetings all,

Does anyone know anything about Beach Masters. If my memory serves me correctly the RN were incharge of the Beaches on D Day.

I'm interested in their dress. Did they wear Buff type Berets and DB or did RN personnel sometimes wear BD but in RN Blue?.

I can't remember where I've see pictures or I may be getting two different things mixed up - the buff berets ring a bell but so does the RN Blue DB.

Any thought? Hmmm, more research required.
