:-) This is my Tamiya Dewotine 250 It is painted with aeromaster enamals, I have also used Aeromaster decals. The gloss cote is Klear and the wash is artists oils.
It is waiting for it's matt cote. The camouflage was masked using Blue Tack.
This is the first time that I have ever attempted to post a pic, so I hope this works.

It obviously aint a warship, I'm sure I hit aircraft subject, or maybe not. I'm not able to change it anyway.

:-) Thanks Bender, It should look even better with a matt cote, which I will try and do in the next couple of days. Also the lighting conditions weren't to good, so I'm hoping to be able to take some more and better pics and show this completed on Monday.

Nice clean finish holdfast! I like your idea of using the blue tack for holding the small parts. Should look great when finished. It would kill me to make something like this now..... where would i add the dents and mud!

I've been to the dark side too :-)
Actually it's not as clean as it looks, I'm new to this digital photography thing. I've set up a platform just inside the window in my modelling room, to utilise the sun for lighting. It was pretty dull when I took these. I have an idea for using a mirror to reflect light back onto the subject, which should help, I think.

:-) No penpen, It's the Tamiya 1/48. I couldn't do that camo in 1/72. LOL

:-) Matt cotes on, looks a lot better? I neglected to score around the masking when removing it from the canopy and it's taken off some of the paint, bummer.

:-) Yep you are dead right, I'm afraid I'm not into French subjects and I do need glasses for reading. You could have told me sooner. LOL

Hey, good job. It's the review board, but I can't find anything to add. Nice panel lines, nice amo, nice finall matt finish, looks like the canopy will come out fine. Good work.
I use a blob of clay to hold small parts, same fashion as Holdfast.
keep up the good work

Yeh youd think so wouldn't you Scott but guess what, yep I've blown it. It's masked with Parafilm M, when I take it off the paint and Klear and varnish, thats accumulated on it flakes and leaves bits on the canopy. They only adhear through static so removing them isn't a great chore, but for some reason this time I used white spirit and the conopy is now cloudy
Must be a day for mishaps, I've also lost a set of conopy parts for one of the 3 Bf 109s that I'm doing for the Luftwaffe group build Never mind, it's these sort of little things that make life interesting, DOH

To save your canopy, you can gently rub it with toothpaste or with a product from tamiya... the product's name I have forgotten of course...

Hi Micheal,
I'm assuming that you meen the first pic. They are the flaps, prop, prop spinner and undercarriage doors. Hopefully they will soon be on where they belong.

:-) Finished, well still need to do a bit more work on the canopy. Sorry the pics aren't to good, it's been a bit cloudy.
I will replace these with better quality when the sun allows :-)
