Ladies and gentlemen, I give you HMS Campanula! Finished after a mere 2 and 1/4 years, considerably longer than the real ship took to build...

There are some more pictures in my gallery, hope you like them.

[quote]considerably longer than the real ship took to build...[/quote} That's because its just a little easier working with 1/1 scale. Plus they didn't have to wait for all the aftermarket stuff to come in.
:-)

You did a beautiful job, no matter how long it took. Sometimes when I go through droughts I feell I'd be happy to make something OOB in that length of time.

Now have a beer, enjoy the accolades I'm sure will be coming, and press onto the next project.

I actually have another one of these in my stash, but daren't touch her yet! The rough plan is to do an early war version of Campanula before her refit, but I think I'll take on a few less ambitious ones first.

Now, where did I put that 1/72 Revell U-boat? :-)

That looks lovely, I hope to get to get one of the 1/72 kits and build the corvette named for my town, K 147, Baddeck. You've certainly inspired me. Thanks for the photo, Cheers!

Hi Graham.

Truely outstanding. The skill and patience you have put into this build shines through on every part of the kit. Awesome detail and the overall effect is brilliant.

Thanks for sharing this one, inspiring to say the least.

Is there a message in her signal flags???? I never did learn to read them although I did start once many years ago.

Abosultely brilliant.

Cheers

Not an expert by any means on signal flags, but I believe the RN used a different set of codes in WW2 to that they use now. My flag hoist is suposed to read "Cruel Sea"!

Very nice Graham. Every time I see this kit, it makes me want build one. But, I've got too many in the stash now. :-) :-) :-) I can smell the salt air and fell the cold spray from here.
