Hi

Confession time fellow seafarers I made another investment this week . The 1/72 Revell S-100 Schellboote from a local LHS and a 10% discount as well couriered to the door. I was so pleased to see it in New Zealand and at a great price. Its difficult near on impossible to get Revell Germany stuff here in New Zealand now.

Best I keep away from the WEM (etch set) website at this stage.

As I told my therapist if anyone has to take the blame for this new found addiction to UBoats and S Boats (E Boats) its this forum and the great bunch of people here who have got me hooked on all these things. My therapist says that this is something we can explore in our next session. The first step is to acknowldege my new addiction.

I am not really in therapy and its all tongue in cheek and no offence is intended for those actually seeking such help but gosh I am thinking about doing something about this new "Shipwright" addiction. LOL Someone throw me a life preserver as I wallow in the North Sea swells which is model shipwright addiction containing endless cool kitsets and hanging out in this neat forum.

Gunny warned me about this but I thought I was too smart to get hooked.

It seems I now have a small flotilla of 1/72nd submarines and E Boats moored in my workshop awaiting construction.

Regards

Sean

Sean, you're hooked, mate!
You've made an excellent choice of kits, my friend...I love the Revell S-100! Take a look at this link right HERE

Hi Sean

It's good to see that you're not alone :-)
I have found ships, and especially 1/35 and 1/72 very demanding and rewarding - but nothing beats a 1/700 ship (although bigger scales are my favorite)

Thanks Guys

Great link thanks Mark and I thought I had found all the S-100 build articles but this stuff is superb.
Trust the master to pull something out of the hat.

Regards

Sean
