Hey guys,
I'm looking for reference material for a scratchbuilt model of IJN Hyuga. I have a smaller model of it in 1/700, but I would like some actual references to detail the bigger one with.
Thanks,
              Clark

Hi Clark
First of all, Welcome to Modelshipwrights!
I'll check in my resources and see if there's something usefull to your project...
What scale are you planning for your Hyuga?

I'm planning to build it in my favorite scale, 1:144. Plenty of room inside the hull for running gear, and in scale with my other ships (HMS Invincible, HMS Vanguard, IJN Agano). I will be giving it some remotely-operated detail work like turrets and lights.
I just noticed that I forgot to mention an important detail. I posted this request in the carrier forum, but forgot to include that I want to build the Hyuga AFTER her conversion to a BBCV.

Thanks to those who emailed suggestions... I found 2 photo magazines from Japan that focus on the Hyuga/Ise class.
