Here are a few more photos showing the progress (slow I admit) that I have made with the Mirage 1/400 scale Type VIIB. I picked up a few more Submarine models this weekend while at the Avon IPMS show held in Yate near Bristol (England) well five in total, that should keep me busy for a while, must go have just spotted HMS WIFE bearing down on me from the port side, that will teach me to surface and transmit before I have completed the decorating of the house hallway and stair well (LOL)

Lookin good, Pete!
Hey, how good are you at scratch building, mate? Reason that I ask, is if you can get a couple reference pics of the deck gun for this version, I bet that you could model a more detailed facsimile (not that there is much wrong with the kit supplied one, but it is a bit low in detail). I've been watching your progress with these little beauties, and I think that something like this would really make this stand out! Choice is all yours though, my friend...either way, looks great, and keep us posted of the progress!
Keep Modeling!

Really nice Pete, love the railings. I would say you must have the patients of a saint but I know you're not a saint :-) You got a lot of patients and skill though.
Catch you later
