Just to let you know that thanks to Dave (aka gaitorbait51) my LCP (L) arived this morning. It's a fairly basic kit but should build into a nice boat.

I'm building the Trumepter LCM 3 at the moment. Not as nice a kit as the Italeri one but want to ask a couple of questions.
1. Is Tamiya XF 66 (Light Grey) OK for US Boats???
2. Was there a winch on the starboard side of the LCM 3. There is none on the Italeri Boat but there is a winding winch on each side of the Trumepter Boat?
