Hi,
I have just bought a Trump, USS Yorktown 1/350. This is the first time i've bought a Trump model, and was wondering if anyone could tell me the best paints to use. I have used Humbrol in the past.
Cheers
Craig

Hi Craig,
We've got all the paints you'll need, including for the air wing, available in our Colourcoats enamels. No minimum order, and we ship worldwide--even up north to Scotland.
If you have any questions regarding which colours you need, feel free to e-mail me directly.

Hi Craig, and Welcome to Model Shipwrights, mate!
Trump's 1/350 Yorktown, you say?!?. . .well, I think that you made a very good choice for a first Trumpeter kit, and I do reccomend that you follow this link and read an excellent review of this kit, which not only includes a complete breakdown of this kit, there is some dyn-o-mite information overall in the read, including some excellent reference listings.
I'll agree with John, since you're in the neighborhood, WEM Colourcoats would be your best choice, as I feel they are some of the finest and most accurate maritime matches around, my friend. . .
Good luck with the kit. Craig, don't be afraid to ask lot's of questions here if need be, and please, keep us posted on the build with lots of progress pics (we LOVE to see the birthing of a new ship model!
