I was wondering. do anyone knows of anyone that has put out a model of the I-400 series of Japanese submarines from WWII?

To my knowledge, the only I-400 kit that I known of, is the Pitroad kit in 1:700

Tamiya makes the waterline I-16 and I-58 in 1:700.

Also you can still find the I-19 is some hobbyshops or the net. This was
a Nichimo release in I:200 scale.

Combat subs-a division of Skywave/Pitroad makes a 1/350 resin I-400.
I built one 10 years or so ago and it is a very nice kit. Virtually no clean up, full hull and the plane is included. Pacific fron has them for $90

While I realise that $90 is way more than the 1/700 kits go for the 1/700 are waterline and can hardly be called a model. This 1/350 full hull kit is a true replica. Tom's Modelworks has a photo etched set that includes the 1/350 I-400
