Does anyone have any references of the WW2 Landing Craft Control vessels. They were modified LCP(R).
This one is from the USS Knox.

Well Gunny, I've got Revell's 1/3? LCP(R). By the time of Leyte, the LCP(L) and (R) were religated to runabout or supply duty primarily. I saw this photo in my Landing Craft in Action book and thought that that would make an interesting subject. The boat shown was the LCC from the USS Knox, which was present at Leyte landings. With Alan's wonderful LCP(R) as inspiration, I'm going to give this one a go.

Hi Kenny,
Glad you got the bug. This would be an excellent project, I like the look of the LCC.
Look forward to seeing your progress, this little craft looks like getting a second life LOL, LOL.
Cheers
