I'll bet so many Kit Makers are now kicking themselves in the can for not releasing a good Gato Boat a long time ago. The Hint would have been how well the Revell 1/whatever scale Gato has sold over the years. Well thank goodness Revell and Trumpet have come to the rescue big time. Iterai's Elco will do well also..

This is the first time I've seen a major news orginazation, and the New York Times at that, even mention plastic models. This is really great for Revell/Monogram, and the industry.
"Hobby Lobby?" Not the stores in town, yet. Hopefully they will get some to go along the U-Boat. Just in time for the next 50% off sale?
I still think there is no way I could display this beast, so I might have to content myself with the 1/144 scale kit.
