I'll bet so many Kit Makers are now kicking themselves in the can for not releasing a good Gato Boat a long time ago. The Hint would have been how well the Revell 1/whatever scale Gato has sold over the years. Well thank goodness Revell and Trumpet have come to the rescue big time.

This is the first time I've seen a major news orginazation, and the New York Times at that, even mention plastic models. This is really great for Revell/Monogram, and the industry.
"Hobby Lobby?" Not the stores in town, yet. Hopefully they will get some to go along the U-Boat. Just in time for the next 50% off sale?
I still think there is no way I could display this beast, so I might have to content myself with the 1/144 scale kit.
