Glad you guys like it. . .sorry Al, but IWM? I'm having a mental meltdown, mate, what is IWM?. . .Imperial War Museum?. . .

If this is the case, Al, here is their disclaimer ;

So in reality, we would be in compliance to use these images, as we are using them purely for the educational value, as a research tool, as long as proper credit is given for the photo.

Cool! She carries Hovercraft and Harriers. Lovely ship!

A force to be reckoned with. Fast and and can attack virtually anywhere.. Coastwise anyway!

Lovely pic.

I agree, mate, and one of my all time favorites, in real life and the model subject, for sure. . .The amphibious assault ship is an extremely versatile vessel, both for the Navy and the Marines.
Thanks for the positives!

(and I just can'y resist another one of my fave's of this type!)

Ok Gunny, I'll bite. Australia's Collins-class submarine, HMAS Rankin SSK 78 cruises out to sea at periscope depth, and is scheduled to participate in exercise Rim of the Pacific RIMPAC 2004.
