I'm sure most have heard of the US Marines and their outstanding "Silent" Drill team. If you have never seen them perform, you are really missing an outstanding exhibition in drill.

Well unknown to most, the US Navy also has a "Silent" drill team.
Here's a link to the US Navy Drill Team

When I went through boot camp in San Diego back in '83, I was in drill division. They would ask on the bus into base if anyone had any music, flag squad, or marching experience. If you answered yes, you were pulled out of a regular boot division and placed in drill division. We had a Drum and Bugle corps, A 50 state flag squad, and a rifle drill team. I played trumpet in high school, so they put me on valve trombone. I was always amazed at the rifle team. All spiffy in their dress blue 16 button bellbottoms and chrome helmets.
Thanks for posting the video, It sure brought back some memories
