Ahoy Shipmates
Do you have favourite songs of a nautical flavour?
I have a couple which always get the salt moving through the old clogged veins and arteries:
"Sailing" by Rod Stewart
"Orinico Flow" by Enya
Regards
Sean

Sean,
I usually listen to Victory At Sea by Richard Rodgers.
50+ years old but still one of the best IMO.
The two digitally remastered CDs are fantastic but I have the complete set on vinyl LPs that I listen to just to hear the hiss and sctatches ... ah the good ole days.
Best regards,
Gary

Does “Around the World With a Rubber Duck” count?
They do seem to go over a lot of water in that song.....
Now praise the lord and mr. ford and follow that microbus. 10-4

Another vote for Victory at Sea. I can put on the DVD and ignore the video and commentary and just focus on the music.
Johhny Horton's Sink the Bismarck
The Kingston Trio's The Loss of the Reuben James
Al Stewart's Lord Granville
Jimmy Dean's PT 109

Don't forget Gordon Lightfoot's "The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald".
