Greetings all,

Just wondering if anyone has come across any infromaation relating to the colour of Lighthouses and dock type buildings during WW2.

I was watching a programme about costal Britiain last night and it memtioned that they were painted black during the war, at least on the Scottish coastline.

Any thoughts???

Cheers

Al

Hmmm Alan. That's a good one. I'll check my sources and see what I can scrape up.

Hi Kenny,

Thanks for that I emailed Trinity House to see if they can 'throw any light' on the subject. :-) :-) :-) .

Saw your post on the LCP CC, look forward to seeing some progress and get well soon. A bad dose of the Flu can knock you right off your feet.

Many thanks

Al
