I went ahead and ordered the Planet Models Type IID Uboat from Squadron. It was on sale for $17. So I figured I couldn't go wrong. Got the last one as well. But anyways I finally found some pictures of one finished. It doesn't look to bad, except its missing the railing on the tower, and the netcutter looks kind of odd. But I should be able to fix that. I hope anyways.

Yeah I was kind of figuring the railing could be fixed with evergreen plastic. Samething with the netcutter supports. Now does anybody have any pictures of a type IID sub? Or know of any websites with pictures of one? All I can ever seem to find are type VII.

Ahoy Ryan,

Found this site showing a 80" Type II in 1:22 scale.

Here is the link.

You should be able to see the appropriate detail in their picture.

Later...

Ahoy Ryan,

Here is one more for you, from Dreadnoughtproject.com

http://www.dreadnoughtproject.org/plans/KM_Uboot_Type_II_1934//dockzeichnung_100dpi.jpg

Copy and paste as I could not get it to link.

You should have all the info you need, with the plan.

Later,
Joe

Hey Joe, Thank you so much for those links. Thats exactly what I was looking for. That will help me quite a lot with the railings. I'll make sure to post some pictures of her when I get her in the mail.
