I went ahead and ordered the Planet Models Type IID Uboat from Squadron. It was on sale for $17. So I figured I couldn't go wrong. Got the last one as well. But anyways I finally found some pictures of one finished. It doesn't look to bad, except its missing the railing on the tower, and the netcutter looks kind of odd. But I should be able to fix that. I hope anyways.

Yeah I was kind of figuring the railing could be fixed with evergreen plastic. Samething with the netcutter supports. Now does anybody have any pictures of a type IID sub? Or know of any websites with pictures of one? All I can ever seem to find are type VII.

Ahoy Ryan,
Found this site showing a 80" Type II in 1:22 scale.
Here is the link.

You should be able to see the appropriate detail in their picture.

Hey Joe, Thank you so much for those links. Thats exactly what I was looking for. That will help me quite a lot with the railings. I'll make sure to post some pictures of her when I get her in the mail.
