For your pleasure or otherwise I have attached a few shots which show the progress being made with numbers 2 & 3 of the intended 4 models which will show the service life of one Type XXIII / 240.
The colour information was supplied by my friend Olaf of Modellmarine.de who lives in Hamburg and was able to not only trace a few colour photographs of S170 but also spoke to the S170 crew association for me.
The model are in gloss varnish at present for the application of decals, the colours as you know will change when matt varnish is applied.
