Here is my first model U-Boat,still yet to be weathered.

Its the Revell 1/144 scale kit which i brought the other day.
I desided to the U217 as it has a nice camo pattern and i like the laughing sawfish emblem

:-)

I used fishing wire for the rigging and blobs of super glue for the tention mounts, also as there were no mooring bollards in the kit i made my own using cut off pieces of sprue and melting the tops with a hot screwdriver.

i shall start the weathering and such after christmas.

enjoy

Ahoy Karl,

That is a very nice u-boat, you put together....I like the subtle camo.

Would like to see it again when it is all weathered.

This little beauty has so many details, that some washes will really
make them all stand out.

Have a nice day and happy modelling,

Have a Merry X-Mas,

Joe
