Hi all just need an opinion on the colour iv painted the decking on my model battleship?should i repaint it a lighter colour?

It's a little bit brownish
I would go for a lighter shade like this (from Erin Boyd's Hood)

Erin used Tamiya XF-57 Buff

Definately go lighter with the deck. Battleship captains were the worst at wanting the deck to be exceptionally clean. The Hood boasted that you could eat off of her deck.
Also, unpainted decks would bleach out from the sun.
