Hi all!
The Elco 80 is now finished. You can see the pics here.
Ifyou have a chance to visit the Nurnberg fair, the model will be on display at the Italeri's stand...

Ciao Fabio!

Bravo bravo - che bella scafo!!
Do you think it's possible to have a MOD feature here at MSW?
(With the pictures without the Copyright?)
Please email me at rui.matos(at)modelshipwrights or PM me
If you have any issues with dates (because of the Nuremberg Fair) we can wait until then

Thank you and once again Congratulations
Skipper

PS: Just two things that I noticed and I hope that I am still on time and you are willing to do something:
- Propeller color (they should be bronze)
- You should weather the interior and muzzle of the rocket launcher (some MIG smoke??)
Hope this helps

Beautiful Elco, mate!

Thanks for taking us on the build with you, Fabio! A MOD here at MSW would be terrific (if possible. . .copyrights, yeah, I know! )as Rui has just said.
Cheers,

Fabio I thought you only did Italian cavalry vehicles? I didn't know you ventured into the wet side. This looks fabulous. I can't wait to see one of these built in the flesh, just to get a full appreciation of it's size. I really questioned Italeri's decision with going with a later boat but I think I see their point. Modelers love guns, the bigger the better, and that 40mm looks so impressive, along with all the others.

Great job on the build, and also the photos.

Be aware Italeri ' s Elco 80 builders....about camo colours scheme !
Read this :

http://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/builds/it/build_it_5602.shtml ( copy & past )

I really think my "friend" , ( same country ) ,Fabio did the mistake painting his PT !

PS: Fabio....mi sa che hai sbagliato.....pitturare il ponte col pale green....

PS2 : Hi all ,obviously from Italy, this is my first post here...
Usually i do 1/35 modern tanks....but the Italeri PT is a must and i will build it ! The kit will arrive in few days , but i already looked into a box and i can say the kit is awesome...maybe the best kit Italeri have done ....

The model has been commissioned by Italery who told me to follow the kit's instructions sheet, and so I did...

Nice model - unfortunately I prefer the earlier "clean" Elcos like 107 and 109- I suppose you could always backdate the kit but at 150 dollars this one goes to the back of the wish list .

I looked for real , into the box in a model-shop here in Italy...i think the model is one, if not the best thing Italeri ever made !
I usually make 1/35 modern tanks....so i never have built a ship....but this kit i think is a must....to have anyway....infact it will arrive to me in a few days....
