Ahoy mates! You guys had a great suggestion about the top three most useful parts of MSW. So, sound off!

Gator's Top Three...from the home office deep in the swamp of southwest Louisiana.
3. How to features. (Yes Gunny, I'll do one for water.)
2. Group builds. We ge to see several approaches to a single subject.
1. The forums. Help is always a keystroke away.

We, I would like to have a kind of "Top Three features you found most usefull" - only one is very limited, but that's what we can have in this kind of surveys

Just my two cents
Skipper

Thrown my vote into the hat, agree with the others who say that having a "Top Three" would be better, only having one vote required me to vote for the "Forum" as without that none of the other would probally happen.

Bye
PeteV

Threw in my vote.......Forums.......that is really where the info gets shared
amongst the "seasoned seadogs" and the newbies.......but I have to
agree that a top three would be better.

Cheers,
Joe

I voted for forums, although I think we really need to select 3 areas from that list to get a good indicator of what is useful -- why not do it again ?.

John

I believe this is the reason for this thread. . .

We as staffers, need feedback such as this to help us to make YOUR site a better experience. . . so how 'bout it? What are YOUR top three most useful sections, and why? We can't do this type of action in a standard poll format, so here's your chance!
Cheers,
~Gunny

Here's my choice:

- Features
- Forum
- Built Reviews

Then here are my three.

- Forums 80%

- Features 15%

- Reviews 5%

Then of course there is the one intangible that doesn't really come under any category, but is closest to forums, and that is the support of all the members. Just knowing you folks are here, have been there, and done that, and are willing to help in any way is the greatest feature of all.

Hmmmm.

Forums - information first

Features - for reference and inspiration

News & Reviews for update info

Ha ha, that's 4 but I think of News/Reviews in a similar way, keeping one up to date.

Cheers

Al

Well

Now the choice has been expanded, it is still not easy, is it!!

1) The forum

2) Features

3) Build Reviews

At the risk of being seen as a brown nose I would like to point out as a recent "New Boy" that without any doubt or question the absolutely best asset that MSW has is YOU its members, The welcome and help that I received and continue to enjoy has really put the life back into my (our) hobby for me and is a refreshing change from some of the "Old Boys clubs" that operate under the term "Modelling Site".

Thats it before I start to cry and have any of you saying I have gone soft.

As I said the last time the most useful thing here is all the great members but I don’t think thats what your looking for.

1: the forums
2: reviews
3: features

Now on a side note I think it would be extremely helpful if we could get some dancing girls around here. :-)

Shall we all have a group hug, or just sing Koombaya?

Well, I think I have to pull rank here :-)
To Pete and all, with no exception (perhaps one or two, but they are long gone!!)

I can say that the use of sites like this is to help develop the skills, craftmanship and levell of works that we all show! No one of us was born fully enlighted and skilled as a PRO-Modeler, so the only way of acomplishing this is by sharing and helping eachother - I believe in this (you can call me stupid) and that this is the only way of evolution of our skills!
If I only show my exquisite models and don't explain how I achieved that result, or if I know a little more and someone shows his/hers work and I know that there's something that can be improved, I say what and how - not just say "wow, great job!!".
Positive and constructive criticism is very important, you just have to think a little before you post your comment/reply.
Helping is easy, you just know how to give, and all of you are Great Givers!
Thanks for making this community so good - and we all have space to improve!!!

Rui,

Agree with you totally, nothing more to add

Kenny,

Correct,

Never been to church, except for a pub by that name, let alone a camp run by them!

And the warm fuzzy feeling, well there was me thinking it was the drinks kicking in (LOL).
