Hi Every one
Joe thanks for the photo mate, looks like another one to go on my shopping list, can you recommend any good reference material for the Type II.
Question.
While looking at some photos taken at the Toy Fair in N/berg I noticed a Type XXIII with the Torpedo door open, the model looked to be a large scale, anyone know who is going to market that one, could it be a re-issue of the S/Navy XXIII with a few extras added, the Alanger (spelling ??) company logo was visable in the back ground if I recall correctly.

Yeap!
That one I spoted when Mark "Gunny" posted the Nuremberg photos link
A Happy happy Skipper
As for the Alanger models, from my understanding they are only producing 1/350 soviet/russian modern subs.... Could be the proximity of stands????

Ahoy all,
It seems after further reading that the Type II we see in this diorama is by
a company called Artmaster and not Special Navy.
Here is the Special Navy release:
The hull seems to be much more detailed and if this is how it will be delivered, with the vents all opened
up, I am sure many modelers will greatly appreciate this!
