This is the progress of my USS Saratoga awaiting the completion of the airwing and a couple of deck details. I am still waiting on arrival of 6x F2F Buffalos and a dozen TBD1 Devastators. Detailing these 1:350 aircraft is a slow process, but the GMM photo-etch struts, cabanes, tailhooks. ect really are worthwhile.
The carrier will be depicted with the USS West Virginia and Arizona during Fleet Problem XXI held between April and June of 1940.
