The other night I was looking over books at Barnes and Noble and noticed a couple I'd really like to own. Unfortunately I can't afford books right now so I immediately had holds put on them at the local library. I picked them up today.
The two books are, At All Costs, by Sam Moses about the Operation Pedestal convoy that relieved Malta, including the tanker SS Ohio, and Ship of Ghosts by James D Hornfischer about the USS Houston. Both books look really interesting. I'm particularly interested in reading Ship of Ghosts as the same author also wrote Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors which I felt was a really excellent book.
I'll let you all know as I get into these and how good they are.
