Ahoy mates! Here's my 1/700 shipyard that I will use as a backdrop for in progress photos. I've ordered Tamiya's 1/700 dockyard set with the crane.
Here's one with the 1/700 North Carolina
And the 1/700 Hornet
Scale flatcars
I do need to narrow the dock down a bit.
Does anyone have some 1/700 scale vehicles thay can part with?

Looks cool, Gator!
I'll check the stash for some vehicles....might have a forklift or two, and maybe some leftover tanks...

and this is just to photograph 'work in progress'. Great idea and looks very promising.
Did you check out the Loose Cannon's range of dockside gear? Very nice for the spoilt 1:700 builders

Ahoy mates. After looking at the shipyard base for a few days, I've started building a second one with a some changes in the measurements. The docks are wider and longer and made the space between the two docks narrower. I'll have some photos of it as soon as I get the chance.
