hi guys, i'm 're' working my LSSC dragon with navyseal figures. i finished this a few years ago just to see how it looks. early this year..i gave a second look and started working on it. repainted and weathered the craft. added extra gears and stuff to go along with the figures. replaced some with resin heads. ..
unfortunately i didn't take some pictures of the early craft. but it pretty much made an improvement as of before. will post more pictures as soon i made progress. comments and suggestions are welcome.

That's a sharp looking model Ed. The tarps look to be foil, correct?

yes it's a foil alright..a candy wrapper! and this one is workable, less tearing and easy to paint. i've been using it on my models..specially on tanks and softskins. check this out...
gold wrapper is on the bottom right..partially shown. check out your local stores that suites your taste.
thanks all..more to see...!

Ahoy Ed,
Very nice work.......love the paint job and weathering. The figues are very nice,
they sure add to the sense of dimension.
Are you planning to display it a diorama.....would look really cool!

Ed,
Might I suggest some camo cream on the figure's faces and other exposed skin, just look at how the ginger haired figure stands out compared to the others. and some mud on the uniforms (nice tiger-striping by the way), you've got mud on the boots but nowhere else I can see.
Bare skin would stick out like a target in jungle terrain or at night.
Looking at some Hollywood adventures (Apocalypse Now, Commando etc.), I think they over did it a bit...but you never know.
All The Best,
Tom

hi everyone, thanks for your nice comments and suggestions. i might try doing a diorama in the future..i'm still looking for an easy way and materials to make water. i read in the forum some techniques/materials for the element. surely it'll need proper handling and it would be my first time apply this on my work.
nice suggestion on the camo cream..! one question(or two)...do they have any style, pattern or stroke on applying it? or do they just put them anyway you like it? man..i had a hard time painting their faces..and now i have to put camouflage on 'em. was there any link i can check on for the 'camo' faces? thanks again for the comments and suggestions.

Sorry, Ed,
Can't help you with camo cream application.
I think darker tones on the facial areas that catch more sun (think of what parts start sunburning first). Nip over to Historicus Forma ( the figure forums) and post there. They're a helpful bunch and I'm sure someone'll be able to answer your camo question.
