Good morning Gunny,
I usually am inspired by subject matter first then go to reviews to pick the best option or to decide if I want to lay out the $$$ for a kit that is marginal in quality. Yep, the reviews have saved me from buying many a dog. Then again, sometimes I am so inspired that I will attempt to make a silk purse out of a sows ear, or as we say at work......Let's put some lipstick on that pig!

Reviews? People actually review kits? Cewl!
Seriously, I try to look for reviews of a kit before I by. Once bitten, twice shy.

Voted. I always read the reviews, but sometimes ignore them. That's when I feel the reviewer is more critical than I am, or not critical enough, etc. I do the same thing with movie reviews.

Reviews are very sensitive material... and than there are the reviewers. Some are better than other (as everything in life).
Without any sense of criticism, I prefer the Built Reviews, because (and I suffered from that) what appear to be an excellent model in the box, when you go and start to build it...
surprise, surprise!!!
I am drive more by theme or any other inspiration, and ocasionally by a excellent review.
Thanks for pulling this (another) Poll, Mark
