While building a workable big scale Caproni CB, Ronald found my own Caproni CB model. We exchanged some info but in need for further information, Ronald went to Zagreb to see one of the only two surviving Caproni CB midget submarines.
He was kind enough to share them with us! Thank you Ronald

Shipmates,
Outstanding photos !! This is extremely great to see considering it is such an over looked vessel. Between this and the Caproni book recommended by Rui, eventually I can restart my 1/72 scale build of the Combat Subs kit.
Thanks again gang.............Semper Fi...............Bruce

took me a while to discover the forum, but it sure is nice to find my
contribution appreciated. Now, let's see some models surfacing !
If somebody wants more details than this, I have another
200 MB of photo's and a burning desire to recoup some of my travel
expenses (nudge nudge, wink wink know what I mean ?)
but on the other hand I selected these few to cover pretty much all
relevant detail.

btw, I had a few nice italian folks helping me out as well,
their info is right here
at their www.betasom.it website.
have a look at the seventh post. lots of detail on the other still existing
CB, in a museum in Trieste. it might have been restored with a bit of
artistic licence, though.
