OK, hopefully this will work:
Daily life aboard a tincan in WW2
Since Skipper was a tincan sailor--- OK so it was a different uniform- but still a tin can sailor, I figured he would enjoy this.
Any other tin can sailors out there?

Tincan live is rough indeed - not all of us was lucky enough to be on a flattop
