Bruce,

You put forward the idea of having a photo of the completed Class 240 with the original Type XXIII, well here is that shot, hope you like it.

That's awesome Pete. You've done a great job with this historical display.

I agree completely with my mate Gators' remarks here, Mr. Vill...watching this project of yours grow from the early beginnings, to the finale' has been a real treat, both artistically, and historically, mate! You've quite a collection of XXIII variants there, which IMHO, makes for an excellent thesis. Thanks for the experience, Pete, and looking forward to your NEXT project....which is?
Keep Modeling,
~Gunny

Hi

Thanks for the kind words Gator and Gunny, glad you like my work, I am happy with the out come seeing (No pun intended) as I had never modelled a boat or Submarine before the first XXIII.

Gunny, you asked what my next project will be, well at the present time I am fighting a 1/72 Holland Boat of the KuK, just cannot hide the hull joins, tried filling with Milliput and sand/polishing, put on the primer and you can see the joins as plane as day, tried cut recess and filling with super glue same story, at present am trying an old aircraft modelling trick (used to represent ribs/tapes) but in reverse, prime general area, when dry mask either side of visable joint, build up with paint and then carefully polish, we will see (Again no pun intended)
