Pieter Bakels, (PBBAKs), sends us this walk-around filled with detailed images of the USS Iowa, (BB-61), taken in 1985, while in port at Kiel Naval Harbor, Germany.
There are many up close images of key elements of the vessel, which makes for a great photo account for the ship modeler.

Those were really great shots. Stuff like that shows you how huge some of the ships are.
