I think this may be the first 1/700 scale ship Ive completed in quite a while. Any suggestions on weathering? I'm not sure what kind of weathering could show up in such a small scale. Any suggestions?

Ahoy Rodger,
Quite honestly, mate, I personally don't weather my above surface ships (especially 1/700) too extreme...just a light wash to bring out the minor surface details (decking, superstructure, etc...) regardless of the scale. Think it's more of a personal preference, IMHO, as I've seen models built squeaky clean and some battle worn that equally look as good, know what I mean?
Either way, please show us some pics when your done, my friend!

Hey Rodger,
If you do decide to add some weathering, be very light with it. You don't want to over do it.

Thanks guys. I'll give her a wash, and maybe, just maybe, a VERY small rust streak from her anchors. I just know she looks way to clean right now. I'll be posting photos once I'm done.

Sounds great Rodger. Looking forward to the photos.
