Ahoy Kenny,

Thanks for sharing.....always nice to see the amazing work of other modelers.

I have always stood in awe of the complexity of the rigging on the ships of the
days of sail and especially when it is beautifully reproduced as on the model
in the first photo........JUST WOW!

Later,
Joe

Those are some awesome displays. Thanks for sharing. That one oiler that has the plate Louisiana behind it, is that the S.S. Louisiana? I just finished a book about Operation Pedestal where the S.S. Ohio, sister ship to the Louisiana had to fight her way through to Malta. Also isn't that Omaha class cruiser one of the oddest looking ships you've ever seen?

The Louisiana you see in the backgound is the a replica of the pilothouse of the riverboat Louisiana. Kids can go up in to the pilothouse and play with the wheel.

This is on display outside.
(I was able to get the photos of the displays inside before the modelers started showing up. A good friend of mine took these for me.)

Here are more photos of the might USS Kidd. She is the only destroyer on display in here WW2 configuration.

Neat Kenny, thanks for sharing.

I think this summer may find me on the HMS Belfast for some photos although she is in post WW2 fit
I think I will try and get to some other sites around the UK with naval exhibits as well, well if nothing else you've got me making plans for my summer.

Ciao
Luciano
