Gunny that would be a big YES sure I would like to submitt content.
The only thing holding me back is my lack of computer know how, I can use MS word and excel but after that I'm at a complete loss.

If someone could do a submitting for dummies (like me ) I will submitt content. I dont even know how to resize my pictures let a lone zip?...

Well lets see I’ve got a review sitting around here somewhere. Just got to get it sent off.

Luciano I have a program called Irfanview I use for resizing and cleaning up pictures. Its free off the net so if you want let me know and I’ll dig up a link and let you know how it works.
Edit: Gunny beat me to it.

Does this count as content?

Ahoy Frank!

Great observation, mate, someones staying up to date!!

I kinda wanted to get a feel of just who and how many of our crew would have an interest, in case you have any questions of how to actually submit content here, but are a bit apprehensive to do so...

"....If someone could do a submitting for dummies (like me ) I will submitt content. I dont even know how to resize my pictures let a lone zip?..."

I have generally used good ol' MS Paint to resize my photos. It's easy and already on my computer. The hurdles that have always held me back {for quite awhile now} are being able to draw lines, arrows, position text, and more importantly {in todays world} properly assemble 'layers' or overlays as they used to be called......anyway, one of these days it will all come together I guess...

Hey Tread!

Listen up, mate, don't let these things stop you from submitting content....it's best done in the raw form, anyways, just a text file and photo file, then the submitter and the editor work together in developing a good feature, as far as text and photo positioning, arrows, etc...
Now, about those submissions....

Would it be possible to get a staff position to work with potential content submitters to help develop, edit and polish? I think that all of us have something of interest to share, but we are modelers not writers. The person in this position could ensure and increase the quality and keep submissions organized. Great content gets buried all too easily.

Ahoy, mate!
That's part of our job description, my friend, as we are a member driven site at heart, we as staffers all encourage member content submittals, on a constant basis. . .any help that you need, we're here to assist!

gunny,

Is the contest a go? Either way I'm working on a submital or two. Reveiws of a couple models that I have entered in the model of the quater contest. It's not to hard but once I get a rough draft I'll be calling for some help to get the details hammered out.
