If you're interested in here here there are the pre-production shots of the SLC 200 "Maiale" in 1/35 by Italeri.
Soon I'll receive the "barchino"...

Nice work, Fabio!
Looks like another great "PRM" kit from Italeri...are you planning another "test build" as you did with the Elco?

Scoccia,
Thats seems to be a nice looking kit. I don't have any experiance in our underwater ships but I do want to start. I really want to make a build of the USS Silversides SS-236.

Gunny,
Thats an awful big "huckelberry"....LOL! I like the idea of the larger ship (easier to detail with my old eyes). The problem is I have the S-100, Vosper, Arizona, and a resin kit of a Char B1 bis (french tank). I'll have to finish the 3 ships before I buy mor or my wife will skin me.... .
I don't think I'll build the tank, got from the trade thread and I don't like it much...oh well live and learn.

Looks like a very interesting addition to a display case. This is the type that sank the HMS Queen Elizabeth and HMS Valiant, right? Good as Italeri can be in making kits they aren't so hot on figures. I hope somebody comes out with a couple of good figures for this boat.

Rodger you're right this the one which attcked the English fleet in Alexandria sinking two ships. Model Victoria makes very nice figures for it and the Italeri box should include two figures too...
