Ahoy Shipmates

A picture Uncle Sam's Fleet during its visit in the Pacific Waters at Tacoma, Washington, May, 1908, showing the Georgia, New Jersey, Virginia, and Rhode Island Battleships



The arrival of the fleet was a cause for celebration and the city of Tacoma erected an arch on Pacific Street to welcome the sailors.



Here is a picture of the Fleet parade in Tacoma.
