I have not seen anything. Had I gotten a copy I would have done a review.

Some people have said it is a great kit. Others have said it is over engineered.

I would like to see one close up.

Scharnhorst is in my stash to be built this winter. I'm starting Dragon's 1/350 U.S.S. Laffey DD-459 tonight and I haven't decided if the next build will be Scharnhorst or Trupeter's 1/350 U.S.S. North Carolina. I'll try to start a WIP thread when I do start Scharnhorst.

Some good info on Tracy's build thier and now I see what you mean in a way about over engineering. It appears they made a nice kit with nice details but gave one a POS instruction sheet. It appears from TW's build that just maybe showing a section assembled may of done more for the builder.Cheers

Having written technical manuals for assembly and disassembly of large construction equipment I can say the instructions could be a big problem point with some builders. Not everyone can read an instruction sheet at the same level. But, the kit sure does look wonderful.

I would love to get my hands on one, but for now, I will have to sit and wait.

Sure does Jim but I think I might need alot of reference material to be sure that I am putting what were it should be.I did not realize the Scharnhorst was that much larger that the Graf Spee I always thought they were in the same class.
