Intro…

World War II was over and it soon became evident that the US Navy had a fleet and nobody to fight. Many of these ships were only a couple years old and still in great material and mechanical shape.

The solution was called FRAM, Fleet Rehabilitation and Modernization. This was done to meet a new threat on and under the worlds oceans, the Soviet Navy. It was also done because of budge cuts.

On the CD…

Just like other titles from Still Motion this one is loaded with hundreds of high resolution photos. Also included on the CD are line drawings of the covered classes. The photos are great, but line drawings are a major coup.

Not only will you find a majority of the ships in each class covered with pictures but you will also find some other good references. First of all there are the dazzle camo patterns. Then there are FRAM data sheets to show the differences between the Mk1 and Mk2 FRAM conversions.

So many times I have scoured the internet, books, or even my own stack of photos looking for the one shot I need to get something just right. Well, with this CD, pop it in and it is there.

One very good positive about having so many good quality photos and line drawings in one place like this is you can load up on the reference material and she will hardly notice!

Also remember this CD is put together by a ship modeler. So, that means he has been there done that when ti comes to looking for that one shot to "make it right."

Plus shipping to the US is included in the price, so you do not have to worry about that.
