Introduction…

All of us have worked on a project and needed just the right picture of that obscure spot on a ship so we could make it look right. Well, from first hand experience I can tell you, this is not always so easy.

Books do not always show us what we want because they are not put together by model builders all the time. However there is help.

On the CD…

This CD covers the US fleet carriers in the later half of the war. There are 238 high resolution images on the disc. Each photo can be enlarged to show off all of those spots on the carrier you normally never seen.

Another great bonus is having all of the Essex class carriers dazzle camo schemes on one resource. Each ship in the class has its own sheet with the different camo worn by that ship during the war. That by itself is a great reason to get the CD, every Essex class ship with its dazzle pattern all in one place.

Some reference materials are put together by researchers not by modelers. These CD’s are put together by a ship modeler for ship modelers. He has spent the time looking up all of those pictures and line drawings so you will not have to.

Plus, shipping to the US and Canada is included in the price.
SUMMARY
Highs: Camo patterns for all ships in class. Much easier to store than a shelf full of books.
Lows: None Noted
Verdict: A very useful reference tool. Making space in your hobby room for CD's is much easier than more books.
