The Kit…

This is a small piece of after market addition but a big improvement for the Zvezda 1/350 Varyag kit.

I included some photos of the main mast and the yards. As you can see, the mast has the correct provisions and is spot on when looking at the Varyag plans. The upper end is turned quiet nicely and with high precision.

As such, the parts of the Master Model kit are naturally sharper in shape and appearance compared to the original Zvezda kit parts. However, you will need to solder the parts together to receive a strong connection to withstand the rigging procedure.

The Instructions…

The instructions are a small sheet of paper showing the exact position for the Yards and advising to solder the brass parts.

Result and conclusion…

There is few to say to these tiny but stunning enhancement parts provided by Master Model of Poland. They are superbly performed giving the modeler a better chance to get a right and sturdy rigging in place.

So, with all the reviews you've done with the parts, can we expect a building log next? I for one would be most interested. Thanks for the reviews!
