In-Box Review
1700
Sauro Italian DD

by: Mike Taylor [ MODELGUY2 ]

Regia Marina's latest offering is this late 20's to early WW-II DD Sauro. The instructions are in Italian with English included in the painting remarks. An exploded view and small profile and plan drawing are all that's included in the instructions.

While acceptable they leave a lot to be desired. The only problem I had was in the positioning of the platform on the back of the bridge. The result I could achieve didn't match the drawings. The cast parts are of RM usual exceptional quality as are the Photo etched parts.

No drawings are supplied that show the positioning of the mine rails on the deck but if you're interested in ths kit I'm sure the info is readily available. Kits are available directly from RM with Paypal or through Pacific Front Hobbies.
