I've bounced all over the place thus far in my life. I served in the military police and in the armored cavalry during the waning years of the Cold War. I also worked as a police officer and as an oilfield worker. After going back to college and earning a Masters in military history, I am the director of a local library and am involved in the formation of museum and have established an archives for the community. I began building models at the (late) age of ten and have been building off and on ever since. I use models in the library as a passive teaching tool for historical subjects and perhaps, as a means to inspire the youngsters to take up the hobby. Each spring I host a model make and a teach several rocketry classes in communities in Western Kansas. I really do not have a favorite subject and love to build across the spectrum. I do have a new found area of interest...Warships. I'm happily married and have two sons, and we live in Hinterlands of Kansas with a psychotic Siberian Husky-German Shepard cross named Mishka.
