About PrickleHead
Built my first kit at the age of eight, an Airfix 1/72 P-47 Thunderbolt in a plastic bag. I was hooked for the next five years and built a lot of WWII aircraft. Pride and joy was a 1/24 Aifix Hawker Hurricane my father brought back from a trip away. Then when I turned 13-14 due to sport, school and other interests I ceased the hobby. In the last year I had some health issues and my doctor suggested that I take up a hobby perhaps looking back at my younger years to something I really enjoyed. Scale modelling immediately came to mind. So here I am some quarter century after I constructed my last kit starting out all over again. I look forward to the experience.
